‘Northfield Notes Community Choir’ started in January 2014 in Northfield, Birmingham UK. The Choir aims to bring together people in the local community who love to sing. Singing together is great fun, it also provides an opportunity to meet new friends, learn a new skill, and simply makes you feel better! We currently have 25-30 members (men and women) and we welcome anyone over the age of 12yrs to join us (under 16’s should be accompanied by an adult). No previous experience necessary, and no auditions. We sing a wide range of songs including pop, gospel, traditional songs, and even some lively African songs! We sing together for FUN and sometimes perform at community events in the Northfield area. We meet every Thursday (term time only) from 6.30pm to 8.00pm at Holloway Hall, Ley Hill, Birmingham, B31 1TT, Tinkers Farm Road B31 1RH (alternating weekly). For more information contact Janice Paine – email j.e.paine@blueyonder.co.uk
